Hi All,

The daily driver needs to be replaced (Mercedes E320 cdi Estate AG spec.).

Mr Ice is a bit of a Porsche fan now! LOL I have a 996 C2 coupe manual and 996 Turbo S coupe Manual for fun...oh and my mk2 Golf GTI !

Could someone tell me what to look out for and what options I should hunt out?

I'm thinking of spending between £25-30k, I like the look of the ones with the running boards and nice alloys.

Over to you all.

Thanks in advance.

Oh, can they be remapped for a bit more ommpph!

Mods, please leave here, I think I will get more replies.

Not sure exactly what was available on cars that age but I have been looking at newer cars recently
Panoramic Roof
21" wheels
PASM either Air or Normal...some say Air a necessity is you have 21's but I didn't find that.
Adaptive Seats AKA as 18 way seats are brilliant
Bose
Digital Radio (almost a necessity these days)
Roof Bars (it's a 4x4)
PCM
Sport Design Pack (colour coded everything) is great but not hugely common
Privacy Glazing
Park Assist with Reversing Camera

The only things on that list I would compromise on are the Sport Design Pack and you could have Comfort/14 way seats instead of Adaptive Seats. The rest in my book are pretty much must have's.

For resale - this is want I was told

Air suspension
Sat Nav
phone
Reserve camera
pan roof
Xenon lights

Gangster wheels

Wife loves ours...even though I'm trying to get her out of it and into RS4
Ours has normal sized wheels (19 inch) personally think they look ok ??

Here is a list of options and the prices - might help you value up any cars you got to look at

I think yours looks great on them....but I think that's got a lot to do with the colour of your car. I think the black which must be 50% of Cayenne's need the bigger wheels.

Agree...look great with 21inch turbo 2 alloys ...in fact many of the original Porsche wheels look right
