I am looking for a large roof box for a trip to Cornwall. Being realistic its only going to get used for this one week then either sold on ebay or put in our garage and left to gather dust. Are there any good value / high capacity boxes that anyone can suggest or have used before.
I have one? that I am happy to loan out, If you want to borrow the roof bars and buy a foot pack I would just ask for a deposit to be left as I still use the bars from time to time.
If your on Facebook put a post up asking if any of your FB friends have one that they could loan you. you might be lucky and find somebody with not only the box but also the bars to fit your car (you might then just need the footpack kit).
Look on eBay and gumtree etc. Lots of people sell them for less then a weeks hire charge. a set of good bars will set you back but I will always have a set on standby.
