I have booked the Noble Owners Track day at Rockingham this Sunday, and need someone to drive my Espace with my spare wheels and tyres.

I would like to leave (Whickham) Saturday late afternoon and travel down to Rockingham, stop over saturday night and spend the day at Rockingham driving the circuit. Then travel back Sunday around 5pm.

If anyone is free this weekend and is willing to drive my Espace in convoy (legal speeds of course officer) with me, I can offer accommodation Saturday night and passenger rides around Rockingham Sunday.

If you wish to bring wife / husband / boyfriend / girlfriend there is plenty of room in the car.

Any takers ?

Cheers,
Ian.

Shame I wouldn't be insured on your car, I'd have given some thought about going down with you (if I could afford the time off from my work)

(I'm only 3rd party on the Marlin so don't have any insurance on other cars )

Are you mad Stefan? Ok, silly question we already know the answer too

I'm sure Ian's espace will be insured any driver, or will have a named driver added to the policy so that's no excuse and your passing up a chance to have a ride round in the Noble because of time off at work?????

You know Ian only uses 5* hotels aswell

I'd have jumped at the chance in your shoes and would have done it myself if I didn't have kids and a wife that would miss their Dad.

It's normally any driver over 25 (this I believe is changing to 30yrs old this year). Named driver would work though there would be a charge I'm sure.

Stefan, it isn't normally to do with whether you're TPT&F or FC. It's an age thing.

Uni work Byff, I'm a bit behind, but I'd still go - I've just printed off my resignation letter from Ikea now and don't work Sundays anyway anymore.

I was meaning my I wouldn't be able to drive the Espace on my insurance as I'm only TPF&T and don't have any-car TP available.

Either way, I don't think I'm quite what Ian was looking for

All sorted, thanks for reply Stefan. The Espace is insured for any named driver, but if you have work? then I understand.

Next track day for me is Croft April 27th with Tony and the team from HHC. TVR and Noble day. So far, I'm the only Noble to take on the TVR terriers. Everyone welcome, even you Stefan.

Have a good weekend, and sorry I cannot make next Tuesday.

Cheers,
Ian.

If you're sorted, no hassles

It's just Uni work - I'm into the final throws of my dissertation and the like but missing one day wasn't a major hassle in truth.
