Need some ideas on the cheapest way to heat my conservatory as we want to use it in the weeks leading up to xmas. Moved here a year ago but iirc it was a bit milder then so we didn't have to shut the dividing doors. Wife's boss said he uses a meaco dehumidifier in his as it pumps out warm air but I'm not convinced. Any suggestions?

Hook a radiator into your existing central heating circuit, cant remember exactly what it cost me but it wasnt over £250, took the plumber a couple of hours, some pipe and a rad.

^^wot he said^^

In the long run it will probably be the cheapest option as well. Temptation is to plug in a few electric heaters but it will start to cost if you plan to use it all the time as we do.

Kingspan cut neatly and secured to the roof, with an air gap, would be something to consider

We have a radiator in there but don't have the heating on all the time so need an independent source.

Get yourself a decent heat-pump.

Very cheap to run and has the additional advantage of providing cooling in the summer too...

Look's like you're in Devon - we don't come down that far but our website might have a few ideas you can use/price check against some local companies!
