E38 Transmission Service

A friend has a 1996 750iL which is in immaculate condition but needs a pretty serious gearbox service, similar to that detailed in the attached link:

Does anyone know if this can be done in the UK (ideally around the midlands or south east) or if it's time for a road-trip to Dortmund?

Dartford transmissions are approved ZF and have good rep. I had a ZF 6 speed serviced there recently.
