Apologies if in wrong section.

The deadline for health insurance is the 31st December this year and its mandatory for all residents to have it. My parents (as usual) have waited until the last minute to find some. The prices are insane. Can anyone recommend an insurer or an alternative way of staying the right side of the law. Otherwise, its cheaper to pay the damn fine.

Thanks

We write a volume of DHA medical insurance for blue collar workers ie the Indians and Pakistanis etc. Low benefits AED 150,000, low risk low price AED 650 per year. You can not use the Gold Hospital on top of the hill.

Could they could buy one of those policies, any broker would be able to point you towards one of these providers.

Offering a full BUPA style medical to older people has never worked in the UAE from an insurance point of view, we regularly see AED 10- 12,000 for older people, it is expensive I am afraid.
