The timer on my boiler is playing silly buggers, and finding a new part to replace it seems quite hard so I thought I'd replace it with something like the netatmo/hive (or similar).

All of the instructions I can see online involve attaching wires for the thermostat to the boiler, on terminals like this:

However on my boiler I cant seem to find any screw terminals.

Without taking the boiler to bits, I can see the following:
Boiler front

Front cover just pulls off:

And the timer thing pulls out:

There's 1 wire coming from a fused spur heading into the boiler, and another wire coming out of the boiler that goes downstairs to the current thermostat, I cannot see where they go, and I am reluctant to take the actual case off the boiler, as I don't want to get killed to death by a gas leak.

I've had a google but couldn't seem to find anything regarding my boiler & am at a bit of a loss.

Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers!

Undo those 2 screws its an outer case only no gas or combustion seals will be touched it is literally just a metal case to hide everything. Once inside you'll see a white plastic case with 2 or 3 screws open these and elecs will be inside. LS-is 240v supply NS-is neutral and LR-is live return from stat.
