Two weeks in Cala D'Or, home late last night. Cover off, starts first time (yes all you non believers, ever without a trickle charger !) and a midnight run down to Brighton. Up early this morning, the lad wants to go out, "Dad, can we go for a drive ?". Two hours, loads of Optimax, West Sussex country lanes, a blat with a porker, a compliment from a Duke rider, and a bloody big grin back on the face. Even Palace not scoring seems ok....

Wash, polish (the car, not me !) and ready for the morning....bliss....

How sad am I ?

p.s. The Gatwick car draw this month is a fantastic Tuscan, two tickets in my wallet, odds are now only 1000-1.......

'How sad am I ?'

Actually I'd call that 'happy'...

(I think 'sad' is a term used by discontent people to describe happy/content people; the psychologists call it 'reflection'...)

jacksdad,

those airport prizedraws are just dangerous! i'm always tempted whenever i'm going through the airport. i suppose it's just as well that you don't find out about their website so that you can buy tickets from the comfort of your own home!

whoops, it's www.bestofthebest.co.uk

damn, i gave it away. i've bought tickets for 996 turbo and M3 before. no luck so far but am i going to stop buying the tickets? am i f&ck!

Agree, they are dangerous, just look at the colour of the Tuscan on the site....the picture does not do it justice, in the flesh it is glorious. And, as usual, more people were gawping at the Tuscan than the Ferrari.
