Not sure if this is the correct forum for this query however.....
My daughter is 26 years old and passed her driving test last week.
The company I'm with won't even quote for adding onto my insurance .
My broker offered Aviva as the cheapest option but that's £1328 p.a. ( I'm paying £350 )
The car is an 2003.Ford Focus.
Any advice for a cheaper option please ?

Have you tried the comparison sites? I do that each year and get my existing insurer to match the best quote which is often at least a third cheaper than the renewal premium.

That said, given the way insurers charge new drivers, what you have from Aviva might not actually be that bad.

For first year insurance - that's cheap. If she was 20 you could double that figure! I play the numbers game every year and whilst I can usually get Admiral to match low quotes their 'bonus accelerator' policies are only 10 months which can catch you out.

I'd say that's pretty good for having just passed the test.
