Fresh air ventilation in new build extension
Discussion
We've just got planning permission for our 5m x 8m two-storey extension and we're planning on building with SIPS and high efficiency (near Passive House) windows and doors. To aid ventilation we'd like to have fresh air ventilation but don't really feel the need to have full MVHR in the house.
There is no loft space in the extension but there is a large loft in the main house.
I'd like a product which does much of what the MVHR systems do but without the heat exchanger, is there a suitable product?

We'd like:
- Fresh air circulation
- Cool air supply to help with solar gain from large windows
- Temperature control

I think so but I'm not sure of the correct application for one of those and whether it does what I think it does. From what I can see, a MIV could source air from outside and/or inside the loft space? It does sound like it might be what I'm after.
