Cote d'azur, Dordoigne and West of France MH sites
Discussion
Hi, as per the Tuscany Roller team repatriation thread, does any one have any recommended MH sites in the above areas?

Route back from Tuscany is roughly, out via Genoa, coast to Manacco / Cannes, head NW to Millau, then into Dordoigne, then work our way up west of france to Brittany. BUt we are open to suggestions and route is only approx., we go next week, so not all sites open of course.
If anyone has any recommended sties to stay at with a Motorhome, please recommend away!

This site is directly on the river Dordogne , you can either use the camping pitches , or they have a dedicated motor caravan area which is part of a network of areas all over France , not sure what the network is called , but a bit of Googling will find it . once registered , you just enter your pin number to gain entry not sure how it is charged , but chatting to users , not that expensive
Not sure of how to link a Google Earth image , but if you find the village of “La Roque Gageac , and pan left the site is seen on the banks of the river

I'll look it up when I get home from work but there's a decent one near Nantes that has a tram stop right outside that goes into the town centre. It's not a bad place to spend the day.
Also, if you've never been, a little further south is Puy du Fou. It's a superb theme park centred on medieval re-enactments that's well worth a day of anyone's time. The additional joy is you can stop overnight at the site - there's no electric hook ups but I believe it's something like 5-10 Euro per night and there's full black and grey water disposal plus toilets and showers.
