How much GAP insurance?

Monthly: £239 (for 23 months)

Total cost over 24 months: £6,247

ALA Insurance recommends £15,000 cover... Which I can't understand. Surely £7,500 is more than enough?

£15,000 is a little excessive for that price point. My lease car is £32k list and I think I'm on £12k cover.
