Looking for some guidance....

Single garage backing onto a neighbors garden. Garden height is 3/4 of garage. Regrettably whenever we get rain the water slowly seeps through the back wall of the garage.

Any tips on how to stop the water or advice on how best to remove from the garage?

Its making the garage unusable for storage at the minute....

Cheers, Sam

Is there the option to dig down where the garden is in contact with the wall and put in some tanking sheet then back fill with some concrete and then put remaining garden back?

You could tank the inside wall but you may still get it seeping underneath.

Is your roof rainwater contributing to the problem?

Without forming a cavity between your wall and the bank I think you’re left with a choice of multiple snake-oil remedies – others are available. I’ve never had much success with similar problems. Maybe things have improved…

If the adjacent garden is built against the wall, it will need digging out. If there is a gap, there are other options.
