My trackrod ends need replacing soon. I've seen a guy locally selling a rose jointed setup for my car.

I don't know a great deal about this kind of stuff so just wondering if there is any benefit to using rose jointed ends over standard track rod ends?

Car is a modified Civic Type R.

Thanks

Buy OEM...they work, they're strong.

Rose jointed ones have less play but only until they fill with grit and wear out, then they have more play and rattle and clonk. Maybe a good track solution but for road use not so hot.

From my limited experience with them...

Surely you want everything Rose jointed rather than just a few specific parts ?

Mine has no rubber in the suspension at all, it is all Rose joints, so the car is hard and bangs and crashes over everything. I bought it knowing this and you either like the experience or you don't, to change some you would run the risk of being in neither one camp or the other ?

I could of course be talking nonsense.

Thanks for the input all. I'll stick with standard items.
