Well I've done the expensive bit and booked a return ferry from Hull to Zeebrugge, but other than that I have no idea where we are going to go!
MrsTheWife and I and kids 18 and 14 in a 7 metre motorhome. We fancy heading south, avoiding France and maybe going into Germany and then maybe a loop through Czech Republic / Poland before looping back to Zeebrugge. Been all around Europe in the past, just looking for some inspiration - any suggestions (only have a little over two weeks) ??

I'd suggest that to do all that in two weeks will require a holiday to get over it all.

Trick (as I've learnt over two years) is the slower the better. Build in time to see and do things. Only plan things loosely and allow yourself flexibility to skip bits or build in extra days if you find somewhere you like.

I'd suggest Germany should be a focus and limit yourself to perhaps the Black Forest and Harz Mountains as a "circuit". Check out Motorhome Monthly Magazine this month - there's a couple who spent 3 weeks in Germany as part of a longer tour.

Well I've made a start and booked a riverside site at Rudesheim for a couple of nights. Will book one at the end too and then just take it as it comes for the rest . .

If you make it to the CR I could recommend this place in Prague...

http://www.caravancamping.cz/

Right on the river; unbelievably cheap restaurant with really good food; 300m to the trams for the centre of town; very helpful people running it. One thing to mention is that they have communal showers so no individual cubicles. This being PH I had better clarify that sadly they are same sex showers biggrin

I'd also recommend this place near Brno too...

nice quiet site, again on a river; there's an electric boat that you can take into Brno itself; again lovely people who run it.

We loved the CR - cheap as chips; friendly people and lovely scenery.
