A/C installers Middx, Bucks, Berks
Discussion
Hi there. Looking for a steer on Air conditioning installers who would serve Uxbridge (M25 J16 / M40 J1)
Commercial building with pretty straight forward access for cable runs and power etc. to the point where it would be possible to self install but I would obviously rather pay for expertise and a registered F gas installer.
I suspect we will end up with a pair of 2.5kw units and a single 5kw unit. External compressor unit, wall mounted internal unit. May have a 20m run to the compressor on one of the 2.5kw units but condensate can exit out of the back of the internal unit as usual, I just don't want the compressor there.
I have asked for quotes from 4 local firms and so far 2 have got back to me. 1 can't quote for a couple of weeks the other came back with a price of £3,800 excluding electrical work.
Pricing up 2 LG Liberto 2.5kw kits at £400 each, a 5kw kit at £570, 3 brackets at £25 a pop, a core drill at £20 and a couple of 15m coil kits at £100 each leaves about £2,150 install and any gas that might be required. All prices plus Vat of course.
I'd be surprised if 2 people couldn't fit that lot in a day if they know what they were doing. No high heights, all ground floor rooms, park your van next to the units etc.
The usual PH questions. Am I being mean? Have I priced up the wrong gear? Does anyone here fit A/C ?
Thanks in advance.

I've used these guys before, absolutely fantastic and did a great job:-

They are in Hertfordshire but I'm pretty sure they cover a wide area.

You could try Anthony @ M & A Air Conditioning ( based milton keynes but work all over)

No connection with them other than doing some Manufacturing for them.

A little feedback....
Ended up using Paul Workman and delighted with the job. Had 3 systems installed, he had a quick site visit before quoting, handled everything including the electrical work which was undertaken by a subcontractor. Worked around us as we were still trying to make money, lovely tidy install in terms of pipework & unit mounting.
Would have no qualms about recommending Workmans Aircon.
Thanks for the heads up everyone !
