Spotted silver green Chimaera, Durham

Today Durham to Newcastle - did you see the camera van at Washington Services Northbound cunningly disguised as a contractors van, complete with flashing orange roof lights??
So chuffed to see another Chim, I wasn't fully concentrating - let's hope my licence remains clean after 28 years.

They'll make an absolute killing on that stretch.

I put it down to luck, and (lately) driving like an old fart.

I saw the same camera van a week last Sunday when coming back from the TVR meet near the Airport. I was doing about 55 going through the roadworks there, with the flow of traffic, but there were people zooming through at 65+ in the outside lane.

They will make an absolute mint from that camera as it is well disguised until you see the "Safety Camera Scheme" writing on the side. I thought it was a contractors van too. I will wait and see if I got spotted as well!!
