Veg growing - soil testing
Discussion
Does anyone have any advice on soil testing, primarily for the purposes of growing veg?
A long winter of dark nights ahead and I'm keen to know what, if any, chemical additions I should make and if I'm doing any damage by continuing to add woodburner ash to my compost (it raises pH significantly I believe).
I often throw on a load of fish blood and bone fertiliser but it's not very scientific.
