Dont bother.

Clean your drive, top up the joints with kiln dried sand, then seal it with Resilock. It sets the sand hard so seeds can't root in it. It does though slightly change the appearance of the blocks. Make sure you top up with sand first, otherwise dirt will collect in the joints and weeds will root in that dirt.

Ive applied Resiblock to my block paved drive when it was built 5 yrs ago and not had any problems with weeds. Next summer I intend to do the above and reapply more Resiblock.

It will, it's not residual, being designed for clearance before new planting.

It's not a question of strength but the active ingredient. Sadly there's not much left now that's residual (ie a 'path and drive' weedkiller). Blame the EU. They're trying hard to ban glyphosate too.

Are there ANY residual ones that are available to the public?

This stuff has been recommended on PHs numerous times so assume it must be good (haven’t used it myself).

Jetwash. Then pour bags of rocksalt down and brush into the gaps to 'top up' the sand. The salt will leach into the soil/sand and kill everything. At least until the salt is washed out of the system, but usually once a year is enough to keep the weeds away.
I use approx one 25kg bag of rocksalt per 10m2
