Samsung Fridge Freezer - Freezer Warm

Wondered if anyone would have any idea whats going on with my Fridge Freezer. The upper fridge part works and has worked fine since it was bought. However the bottom freezer compartment randomly goes off at times, resulting in losing the food that's stored in there. Its happened about 3 times now. I have turned the unit off for a period of time and then back on and this has fixed the issue temporarily. Any ideas or is it time to replace? Unit is around 4 years old.

Is it a frost free model ? single compressor ?

Usually its the fan icing up....I found on my last samsung fridge/freezer it was the joint around the cooler panel that wasn't good enough so it wasn't de-icing properly (there is a small heater near the fan). I used the double sided tape you stick car numberplates on with...fixed.

The engineers that come tend to be useless....swap a few things and then give up and tell you to buy another.

oh...the fan will burn out if its iced up and not caught quickly.
