Nurburgring 24hrs - camping / motorhome

Has any one camped taken a motorhome to the N24 ?

any advice ?
what how do you book? (via the Nurburgring site?)
which is the best camping area to choose?
are spaces allocated ?

if you turn up on Friday - will you actually find a flat space, or will all available space have been filled with encampments?

Will you take your MH around the ring?

I remember seeing a coach going round it when I went many moons ago
