Read the link, its a joke, indeed quite a funny piss take of all the other moon landing hoax sites, which is why I suggested that you read the link, only after you've clicked through the first few pages does it become evident that it's a parody, a process of discovery that I quite enjoyed, and which I thought you might appreciate also. Not only have I been visting the Badastronomy website for over two years, I originally read Steve Plait's book which is where I found out about the website in the first place. So, I am very well versed in Plait's view on things.

Badastronomy is not a "joke" at all. I think it is a very useful site which discusses all sorts of astronomical issues, most of them nothing to do with "Moon Landing Hoaxes". There are some very knowledgeable folk posting on it and it is a very good place to pose astronomical or even general science questions.

I was at a lecture by Patrick Moore when some joker asked about the hoax theory and why there weren't stars in the photo. PM basically told him to f off and not be so stupid.
