430 sold yesterday, so I can now start lookng for a 599 :-) Any tips or advice from recent buyers? (or not so recent)

Can't help with the 599 but were you happy with what you got for the F430 considering the time of year?

It turns out this is a good time to sell due to various reasons, So yes, I am happy with the price I got, (Full asking price)

The GTB is one of the great GTs, and stunning body. But having run one (switched for a GTO) the GTB must have a bullet-proof service history. Certainly wouldn't buy from any other than a well known (and reputable) dealer/specialist (with strong warranty) or from someone on here who is known to be fastidious about their cars. Happy hunting!

out of interest, who provides a "strong warranty" other than a Ferrari MD ?

Joe Macari for example. And then there's the back-up leverage of reputation. A top specialist with a near bullet-proof reputation is unlikely to enter into a public social media punch-up when there's a legitimate (and I stress legit) claim.

Sure, I would shop at a main dealer first but you can still find relative security elsewhere.
