Am considering one of these (or an arlo). Just wondered if anyone has one and could share their thoughts / experience?

Do theses require a mains lead or are they battery? I have a "wired in" door bell but wouldn't imaging that carries enough for power?

The Ring 2 can be powered or battery, I fitted one for a client at the begining of the year and it is really rather good if you just want an intercom system.

I need slightly more for some of my clients, so usually offer DoorBird as well.

They are great, ive had one for abut 6 weeks now with the chime pro extender and it works brilliantly, very clear picture at night as well.

Runs of the rechargeable battery which lasted almost a month and charges overnight.

Thinking of getting the dual light one for the back of the house now as well

Can't add anything to the thread. Didn't even know what a 'ring stick up cam' was. Just thought it sounded interesting but perverted. Or maybe medical? laugh

Can offer Ring now if interested.
