New bedroom above garage-insulation

We had a new garage built with our bedroom, ensuite etc above it.

Have been advised to use rockwool as the wiring and pipework mean it would be awkward to use expanded urethane etc

Would I then use fire retardant plasterboard as the garage ceiling?
