One of our groups is bringing a motorhome next year. On the way back I want to overnight it in an Ibis just south of Rouen.

Was going to overnight at Boulogne on the way but no decent options to leave the camper on its own, too many reports of break-in's- even with people in the campers!!

Anyone left their campers in hotel carpark and had problems? Hoping South of Rouen should be ok. Any advice related would be welcome. The lads want to overnight in the hotel.

Thanks

I've stopped on the Sunday night with my campervan in Neufchatel en Bray at the Hotel du Grand Cerf which was a pleasant spot, and this year at the Sofhotel in Forges les Eaux which I wouldn't particularly recommend, but did have gated parking, both a just north of Rouen, rather than south though.

Looking on the map its too far North. We eat at Arnage and hit the road around 7pm. Want somewhere a couple of hours away. However the fact that you have not had problems is encouraging. Have found somewhere rural south of Rouen that looks good so will go for it
