One of the rear suspension springs on my 2007 997 GT3 has broken and I'm wondering if it'll be covered under the extended warranty.
The shocks are listed in the items excluded but a quick google suggests that springs have been covered.

I'll call the OPC tomorrow, though would like to be forearmed if possible...

Unfortunately the shock has also been damaged where the broken spring has been rubbing.

Car is booked in to the OPC next week, but still very interested in anyone else's experience of get this sorted under warranty.

Also any views on the likelihood of top mounts being covered?

all wear and tear parts imo have you done a £10k refresh yet :-) sounds like it's due !

From my experience it will be covered by warranty. Springs breaking isn’t usually wear and tear - it’s usually a fault. I have had at least 3 break and all have been covered.
