Looking at some of the pictures posted up here, it's obvious that some of you guys are pretty professional when it comes to car shoots. A few of you seem to also be able to find some stunning metal as subjects

I on the other hand, have no idea.

So, I was just wondering whether any of you guys would mind me, or anyone else interested, tagging along on one of these shoots to see how it's done?

Along similar lines would any of you motorsport photography pros be interested in meeting up with one or two novices at Silverstone or somewhere to give a few tips on getting some decent circuit shots?

I'm sure there'd be more than a couple of in it for you should you be tempted.

That's a great idea Lex... I would like to do that too.

The trouble is, people probably don't want "what's that... what does that do... why are you doing that... what does this [snap], oops... this is yours... "

Love to learn some stuff though.

Funny... i was thinking about asking if anyone was interested in doing a car photo workshop... I admit ive got a lot to learn, but I think there are some techniques etc I could pass on, and Ive got no problem getting hold of cars.

Great idea...if anyone wants to come with me to Gibraltar tommorrow you'll need to be at my appartment by 10:00. I think there's a flight in from Gatwick (Monarch Airlines) tonight that you might make if you get your skates on.

Martin.

Sounds a great idea. Matt would be a great example to lead a car themed one, I'd love to find out how he does it.

P.S. I know we're looking for exotic metal but I'll happily volunteer to bring the Boxster along and see if you can guess which end is the front and which is the back

I'd be interested in this, I can bring my Charger along too. I'm out of the country for the next couple of weeks though.

Love the idea.

When? . . .

Where? . . . please not London

I know a place where there are lots of cars. Both racing and static. Did I mention I was going to Goodwood?

Sounds like it could be a good idea, I could bring the NSX (though you'll have to photoshop the crack in the rear bumper ).

Are you going on the Sunday? All being well I should be. Drop me a mail for my mobile number if you, or anyone else going for that matter, want to meet up.
