Not having a pop, but it does amuse me that the Brazil race is the only GP of the season where the name of the country is written in it’s host language and not English on a forum based in the UK.
Sorry you’ve lost me (and not everyone’s first language is English)?

Ah, I see I have gone all native in the title/header... Pretty sure most of the GP's have the host country in there own language, España, Deutschland etc (some exceptions for the arabic ones).

Anyway, its just a link for an old GP if anyone was interested..

James Allen - not so bad actually. That shows how bad Croft and Edwards are...

Loved and hated this race. I was uncontrollably pacing around the room in the last few laps cursing "not again", just like 2007. Different result of course. Top entertainment. All motor sports are brilliant when it all comes down to the mathematical crunch. smile

Somehow long seasons prelong that inevitable moment but yet really short seasons would nullify it.

Have you seen Sky's coverage and particularly the 'Ask Crofty' section? Today's comm box set-up has a half-dozen screens not to mention people nagging in your earpiece. I don't have a major problem with commentators' change in tone or shouty Crofty who I can tolerate - better than Legard trying his damnedest to make my ears bleed; it's the nature of our sport - incredibly dull one moment and then a sudden incident, race turning moment can cause incredible excitement encapsulated by Murray's trousers-on-fire commentary style.

View about half of his last night. What amazes me is how much better some aspects are than the current coverage.
The roving camera without some gurning idiot blabbing away in front of it blocking the view was light years ahead of what we have now.
We should have that now and commentary box should just do the voiceover like we had here.
Im sick to death of people being asked the same things over and over so the gimp walk on the grid has lost its appeal.
I honestly dont care what someone who knows less about f1 than me thinks just because they blagged their way onto the grid

A lot of the camera angles and cuts between corners seemed better . You get the idea some very experienced tv people have been
moved aside or retired since then as its a bit crap now really.

A lot of the race was pretty dreary and uninteresting after the first few laps so nothing has changed there but the whole package
was superior.

To think it was free back then as well...

I'd forgotten about Kubica unlapping himself which seemed to lead to Vettel passing Hamilton. Imagine the hate he'd have gotten if Hamilton hadn't won.

What tyres was Kubica on? - he unlapped himself so easily I guess he must have been on drys but he stayed ahead of Vettel and Ham while Glock was crawling.

I've got this race on my Sky box.

I never get bored of watching it.
