Turns out that was what was causing the oil leak - blew "outwards" so no coolant / oil mix, and no tell tale signs

Hopefully the head hasnt warped....

Any plans to change to a TRD uprated jobbie??

You can run more boost with it then

Cant afford the TRD gasket - but i have gone through and they've changed every gasket they can find!

Advised that standard gasket should be fine, unless i get to the point where I'll be needing uprated internals anyway.

Its not the end of the world - pick it up tomorrow hopefully.

Still at work now, which blows.

The Rev3 GTE has a metal head gasket as standard. I think you can retro fit it. Worth the extra.

Good point. The standard job will (?) cope with a fair amount of boost, just depends how silly you want to go with tuning

Hope you get back on the road as quick as poss mate.
