Considering a couple of F1 races next year, of which France might be one.

Did anyone here go this year? If so were grandstand ticket prices comparatively high? Where were the better places to aim to view from?

I read about the traffic issues but anything else to add?

Thanks in advance.

If you can book early enough the Eurostar from Ashford goes direct to Marseille (5hr 50mins), and was £50.00 last yr, we were in the area last year but did not attend, although we drove approx 10 hours from Calais.

We bumped into a few people who did shuttle buses 60 euro, and a few that shared taxis that the hotel sorted for them.

Good luck its on my list to do as well.

Why thank you. That is an interesting way to get there, even if I just do it one-way.

I had a peek at your location!

We were on a family holiday, and had a look at last minute tickets (weekend fri -sun) they were 800euro + at the time as they priced them dynamically last yr (think easy jet). So if you want to book, do it early!
