Here are a few quick snaps taken today in London, I only arrived as the cars were leaving so I didn't have much time for anything arty, just found an average spot and snapped away really. I have plenty more if anyone wants to see them!

Appologies for the copyright text, I haven't got the time to do a set for my website and one for here without the text!

Just to add, all pics were taken with a Canon 20D and a Tamron 28-75 lens

I thought it was a Mosler to start with but the sides are wrong.

No idea what it is!

And what's in the lead at the end of day 1? The NOBLE M400 of course! (The Lotus grey one) It is owned by a guy called Ash, is car 106 (Photo please) and he is a PHer!

Martin, the M400 didn't do the starting procession (unless I missed it) which is all I had time to go and see. Infact there were a couple of cars that I didn't see go past, one being the Carrera GT

Here is a random Noble pic though

The Noble is number 75 (I think) and the Camper 80.

If you go to www.gumball3000.com then load the flash website and click on the rev counter you get a list of the entrants so you know who to track I'm suprised there is nothing on the tracking system other than the car number really

Didn't spot THAT on the evening news... was Red Ken bound and gagged in a cupboard somewhere?!

Now why can't they make as much fuss over the Gumball as they do over the marathon? Ah yes, fashion.

The Farboud is a Porsche GT1 replica. Arash built it a few years back and was going to put it into production but Porsche came down on him with legal issues so he scrapped the idea and started to build the Farboud GT that has been in evo etc.

eerrr WRONG!

The cars had been running for about half an hour waiting for the start, so actually the engine was nicely warmed up.

Aahh knowing the full details before posting an insult... bliss
