Not bad because it's the only pic of the day!

Martin.

very good but it looks a bit grainy, did the ISO knob slip again?

A very classically composed pic, can you say "rule of thirds"

i like it

Now, did you really compose it like that and get it so level and in the thirds, or was photoshop called upon

At least you got some sky, my photo process would be:

Then Google image search for generic sky

A bit of copy and paste and hey presto!

at least you got the boat on the right side using your Xpan.

Nice work finding such a suitable sky though

Dark blue clouds... hmmm! Nice pic but smells Photoshoppy!

DCW - how can you see grain in an image that's been crunched to 750 pixels?

on most cameras you can't, but I've heard those 20Ds have grain the size of grapes

The TIFF file is 3815 X 2641 pixels so only gnat's cock of cropping.
Clouds are grey, not blue, but they have seen the Burn Tool.
The horizon was about 2 degrees off horizontal, hence the need for the crop.

Martin.

PS - seeing as you didn't like it here's another

'I didn't get where I am today...' by not knowing a sky that's been nobbled. Unless it's your accursed ISO100 at work; I guess the clouds move during the exposure
