Hello, I've just joined the forums, I will be getting a Nikon D70 tommorrow, to replace a fuji P&S digicam, it will be my first dslr, so i'll be posting a few shots on here for you to enjoy!!
Here's some from the London to Brighton Mini run that was on sunday, all taken on my Fuji. got lots more, but these are the pick of the bunch...
My fav...currently my wallpaper on my pc
they aren't brilliant as it was quite hard to get decent photos as there was sooo many people about, i'm looking for forward to getting out with the D70 though!

My esteemed colleague Mr 406 will be along in a minute with your D70 Clud Membership form, for, in choosing the correct camera to purchase, you land fair and square in the biggest club this side of - uh - the next forum

Welcome to the PH Nikon Owners Clud. You will find in the post by the esteemed Mr Simpo_Two a copy of a D70 Owners Clud Certificate. This will be issued to you when you confirm tomorrow that you have indeed bought the said Modern Marvel. We look forwards to you posting untold numbers of photographs on these forums. I will however warn you that some people get a bit Anal about composition and subject at times. Just remeber, that the only person you have to please is your self, unless the picture is for someone else.

Thank you good sirs, I will be looking forward to taking an immense number of photo's with my new D70, many of which will posted here. I shall of course be framing my D70 Clud membership certificate, along with the exellent shots me and my new D70 will be producing.

This legendary organisation came into being last year when Mr 406, presumably under the affluence of incohol in the Clud lounge, hit 'd' instead of 'b'...

It started as a Typo by me ages ago. Simpo picked up on it and it has evolved into being ever since. It is therefore the fault of both of us that there is now a Nikon Clud

I really like the camera picture on the clud form, did you create it somehow on PS? I'm hopefully (when I get around to it!) going to create a website and was wanting a simple(ish) monochrome camera symbol and something like that would be ideal. Would you mind if I nicked it to play with?

PS I honestly will be posting some piccy's to the forum soon, I even took a photo of Eggborough power station (which someone requested!)to go amongst the May photo competition entries.
