Where's the best place to get car cleaning and detailing products? Any recommendations for a non-trader?

I'm in Miskin. I was just after some shampoo, polish and wax. Nothing too extreme but just a step up from the stuff they sell in Halfords.

There aren't really any shops around, well none that I know off. James at Ti22 in Chepstow had/has a small amount of products for sale. Same goes for Ian at Crystal Clear Detailing in Swansea. Online is probably best, among others I use John Hole at Clean & Shiny, a good range of products and next working day delivery. https://www.cleanandshiny.co.uk/

I've just bought a bit of kit from Cleanyourcar.co.uk, they seem to always have everything i want in stock and can do next day delivery. Although that won't happen tomorrow (Good Friday), but they will deliver on Saturday.

Does your local Halfords stock the Auto Finesse range?

It's a step up from most products.

I’ve always used them too, I think most of the online detailing retailers are good too though.

Don't dismiss Halfords.

They sell Autoglym, Meguires and my local one has just started selling Auto Finess.

Three brands that are more than good enough.

There is a detailing shop in Pengam called 'Jays Wax'. Search it on facebook and it pops up. I went along with one of the guys he sponsors and found his prices to been good if not better than the usual websites.

Just to let you know that I've recently set-up The Shine Shed Car Care and Detailing Supplies. I'm based in Neath and supply Bilt Hamber, Infinity Wax, Koch Chemie and Chemical Guys at the moment, alongside a range of microfibers, towels, mitts and applicators etc. The product ranges will grow, so if your favourite brand isn't available yet, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I'll be attending the meets so can bring products along for collection, to avoid additional delivery costs.
