What happened to the Fun Fair. Was it back last year. It was a great nightime highlight. I seam to remember fast bumper cars, shooting arcades using low power shot guns and the girls!!!.
Any body know if its gone forever

Didn't make it last year but the year before it was split across each side of the bridge - still the usual rides but without les madames.

One of the funniest memories I have of Le Mans is watching stripper 'eating fish' while trying to stop a guy taking photographs from the front of the stage

No nekked lady tent last year, but the funfair was there - with typical french health and safety laws (ie none!).

The go karts can be treacherous, especially if you fall out, like I did!:

We call them the death Karts.... bloody hilarious. We had everyone involved in a pile up two years ago, ended up being asked to leave...

Every year it's the same. Dunlop for the first hour followed by watching pissed up idiots try to kill each other on the karts for an hour then back to the racing...

You should join in Rude Boy, it's good fun. I wasn't trying to kill anyone, I think they were trying to kill me!

Ready Stop Go......

Damn right it's good fun, it's one of the highlights, gives nearly the same buzz as the start of the race!

That was absolute genius, not one of us made it to the finish line (except on foot)... the poor sods working there had to untangle twelve karts and man-handle them back to the start line!!!

Definitely one of the highlights of a very memorable weekend!!!

ps. I'm thinking that we could maybe stage a re-enactment for those that missed it the last time

My wife was driving! She hadn't got a license at the time, so I said floor it, don't ever brake and steer round the corners. If you have a crash do not under any circumstances get out of the kart..... The year she took part, she got to the end, the barrier came down, she crashed into it and still had her foot planted on the throttle, until we told her to get off!!

Hilarious fun..... come on the 17th!
