I guess you have sorted the car, planned the route, agreed the kit list, etc.

But I bet you haven't...

... asked the missus to record Top Gear on Sunday night when you are away!!

Any more top tips??

Then again, it's repeated @ 19:00 on the following Tuesday, so no worries if Heartbeat gets taped 'by accident...

Must remember to set Sky+ to record the 13 hours of Le Mans footage on Eurosport.

Thankfully the computer won't record Heartbeat by mistake

Get the galpharm non-drowsy ones, 1 a day - cheap as chips and by far the most effective ones for me. I nearly fell asleep the other day after having a piriton tablet!

Piriton is awful stuff, unless you suffer from insomnia.

Benadryl is the stuff I use, and brilliant for on-demand treatment as it is effiective within 15 mins of taking it.

Make sure you know how to pitch your tent! I bought a new one for this year and am glad I tried it last night in the garden - it was a nightmare!

Get my drivers license.
My Dad lost my original last year getting me on his company car policy.
Forgot all about it. No 328 driving for me then.
