Remote release

I've got a Canon EOS D30 and was wondering if anybody here knew of any radio releases for it other than the Pocket Wizards unit (seems a bit pricey at nearly £200 for what is ostensibly the same technology found in a £20 remote control toy car).

Any electronics experts here could make a killing if they could knock up a £50 alternative.

Can't testify to whether it is any good or not but seller seems to have a good feedback rating so might be worth a punt.

Indeed! I've got one of these and it works great - the little built in torch is useful as well!

Cheers Prof. I've bought that and I'll post a little review of it here when it arrives. Looks like just the sort of thing I was after. The smaller remotes just don't seem to have the range for car to car stuff.
