Trawling through ebay to see what I might reasonable expect for D1 am about to sell and stumbled across this. Would you be confident buying from this guy??? Particularly curious about his feedback, all very odd.

On a side note anyone interested in a D1 (not X or H) please drop me mail, otherwise will be going on ebay Sunday.

mmm, let me think this one through:

1) They are in China
2) They are "selling" something way below it's true value
3) They recommend that you Western Union the money to them
4) Shipping takes 35 days. That'll be the 30 day walk to the postoffice first then...

Wouldn't touch this one with yours

Simply replace China with Nigeria and would you still think it's worth a punt?

You know, I thought that straight after I posted. Right alongside thinking how funny it would be to open the parcel and fine a cheap chinese plastic imitation of a Nikon

No item numbers in the feedback. All very odd.

Might be OK but - if in doubt, walk away.

Feedback is all more than a year old - looks like a hacked ebay account to me...
