Audi A3 - Yaw Rate Sensor

Trying to help a work mate out and Wonder if anyone has come across this issue before?

Audi A3 2008 Registration (petrol engine)

Has a warning light on, Code is 01542 Yaw Rate Sensor

Trying to establish where the sensor is located, as I'm getting conflicting advice on the internet, best guess so far is its either behind the radio of its behind a panel near the foot rest by the clutch pedal

Can anybody help on this one?

My 05 A4 quattro had an issue with it's Yaw Sensor. A new sensor from Audi was around £600, found a refurbed sensor on ebay for £100, that sorted out the issue. On the A4 it's located under the radio.
