HI all, first off, a big thanks for all the help to questions asked in previous threads and in particular the members who took the time to pm me with help and offers of cars for sale.

I am really pleased to say i ended up with pretty much the perfect spec 570S with track pack in Ceramic Grey, it wasnt my first colour choice but its really growing on me. The car is a 2017 with circa 10k miles and just about every carbon option going. I bought privately through a broker and the car was mpi'd at Mclaren with only a couple of advisories which will be taken care of as some parts are back ordered and the deal was done.

I will get some photos up when i am on my phone, but for now, wow, what a car, everything i hoped for and more.

Thanks again guys.

Welcome and congrats!! I like the colour but if you're not keen, you could always look at some colour changing protection film / paint? I think you're looking at around £4k, but for that you'll pick you ideal colour and you'll have the peace of mind of having the paint protected. My Mclaren is the first car I've had with PPF and I'm sold, it just makes the ownership experience that much enjoyable as you relax about it smile

Same here first time for ppf and I must say although it is relatively expensive they have done a really good job.

I'll post a review in a moment of the experience but here is a peak shot

Lovely far OP.

I am interested in your broker experience. Can you share any details of how it worked, cost and approx savings (no names basis if preferred)?

The broker I used has a vested interest in 4c's, he buys and sells loads of them. So in essence he viewed and liaised a deal with the owner on my behalf, sorted the finance required and took my 4c as a part ex type arrangement.

I wasn't charged a fee due to him taking the 4c as a part ex, I am not sure what fee would be charged for simply acting as a broker.

His name is Joe from Supercar Sourcing, he couldn't have been more helpful and communicative even when the deal almost fell through, he really pushed to get it done when quite frankly the owner was being a complete t*t and I was happy to walk away.
