Yes, the usual collection of fluffy animals sitting on branches eating bits of apple and looking cute. So I tried to find something a bit different:

and a closer crop:

and another 'paws for thought':

That's such a 'human' image.

I'm sure I've seen that big ape driving a Scooby at Vmax.

Nice pics

The expression on that chimps face is priceless! Like them both a lot.

Thanks guys, I thought it might bring out the mothering instinct

I took several similar ones but most were slightly spoiled by a little camera shake. At 250-300mm, f5.6 was not really fast enough. Perhaps I should have opted to lug the 70-200 f2.8 around, but decided the 300mm would be more useful than the f2.8!

Moral: No matter how many lenses you have, you always need more!

Here's another, in colour this time. Most of the close-ups are too shaky for publication!

Mother and baby again. I like the symmetry of this one:

Fennec fox at feeding time:

And a Red Panda chilling out

The first one is brilliant imo and the crop even better.
Those ears on the baby!.... reminds me of me at that age. No wonder i got picked on
Also i love the way the b&w brings out the carachter, especially in the fingers.

I like the elephant one a lot, maybe you could select the background and give a bit more blur as I think the rocks in the background are a little distracting.
