The usual place I jack my car is uneven and gravely. I was thinking about moving some of the gravel trying to make the ground more even and putting a few slabs down.
Would this make the ground more secure or less secure? The slabs wouldn't be perfectly level.
Depends on what you mean by level... for instance a properly laid slab area that say followed a gentle slope would be fine same as a tarmac or concrete drivewayWould this make the ground more secure or less secure? The slabs wouldn't be perfectly level.
Some slabs just thrown down on the ground without any sub base or mortar then very much NO

Concrete slabs of the sort you'd use for domestic patios and pathways are not at all strong and could easily break under point loads from jacks and stands.
This I've seen them brake with a car driving over then never mind being jacked up with the load spread over a smaller areaPaving bricks would be a better choice a lot stronger
