Photography at Brooklands

Am thinking about going to the museum on a day off (work owes big time!) and wondered if you can take your car onto the small stretch of banking that is left as I thought it might make a nice location for me to finally get some car related images :)

I have emailed Brooklands but no reply yet. Anyone been able to use the banking?

I've seem loads of pictures on Porsche Post and Sprint with groups of cars photographed on the banking. So its certainly possible. As to whether or not you can arrange to get just your car on there or not is another matter.

If not there's always Rockingham (with it's 'brown truser' banking). I've done a lot of in car photography there (they don't like external camera mounts mind)

TV crews have used it and car clubs, but only a very short piece of the Members banking is used, as that's the only safe and complete bit. Not sure if they do it for single people though.
