My 6 points have both ben incurred by Vascar detection from motorway bridges. What can I buy/install to help, since I believe Vascar works purely on timing one''s car between 2 fixed points. Is the timer laser/radar triggered. Should I invest in Geodesy, a laser/radar detector, laser jammer, or all of the above?!! I live in S. Yorkshire, where at least some of the cameras are painted bright orange - does anyone have any info on how effective Geodesy is in S. Yorks?

Glasses, if you can't see a cop car on a motorway bridge. Even if it is un-marked you should be suspicious of anything on a bridge. If thats a problem sack the glasses and just be suspicious of bridges (you can see those I hope, if not slow down a bit). The timer is triggered by the coppers index finger nothing fancy like radar or laser so its down to eyesight alone to detect it. OK, OK, I know it a bit sarcy but I can't resist it sometimes. Now I'm back in serious mode let us know if you want more on how VASCAR works and I will reply

Comments on Geodesy are a few threads down but enough to say I love mine to bits. Plus the www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk website is spot on.

I have found that the Mark 1 eyeball with anti-blur optical enhancement technology works best. Keep 'em peeled!
