After nearly 2 years with my NA Evora I've decided it's time to move on.

I've concluded it's too 'good' a car to sit in the garage for the odd weekend blat and I need something a little more raw. They are supremely accomplished cars but I've realised they are more of a GT than a B road blatter.

I've never done the S2 Elise thing so I'm going to try one out.

I may come to regret the decision but the time has come for a new experience.

Has anyone else gone this way, as opposed to Elise to Evora, and how did they find it?

I`m luck I`ve got both. All I can say is they are both brilliant but different...the Elise is a more raw experience and nowhere near as fast which is probably a good thing on a local blast.

If your Evora is standard consider intake and exhaust upgrades before changing! I have a BOE intake and it has completely changed the character of the car! I also have harnesss in the car which make you feel a lot more connected 👍👍

I’ve gone s2 Elise to evora n/a to evora s to Bmw 335d. Now taking delivery soon of a FE Elise.

The s2 Elise is more fun (on the right day in the right conditions with the right amount of luggage!). The evora is a completely different proposition. Works every day (well mine didn’t if I’m honest, but that’s not relevant!).

For a weekend car, Elise every time. For a daily driver, it depends how many comforts you want!

All my lotuses (s1, 111r, s2, evora na, evora s) have been daily drivers. The fe will be a weekend car, which I’m looking forward to.

I have both a S2 111r & a S1 Evora NA

they are chalk and cheese in terms of how they feel to drive, the evora is comfy and cover miles with no bother, the Elise is like a annoying little wasp in comparision, loads of fun to throw down the local lanes on a weekend however doing 3000 miles around europe in it did grate on me in the end

for what you want an Elise sounds perfect, finding one currently will be the hardest bit! Although the demand for your evora will be great too, i would get in touch with Will Blackham he is a Lotus trader that will take your Evora in vs a Exige or Elise he normally has afew or some coming in
