Well there’s no fuel to be had in Stevenage or WGC (at least at the fuel stations I know of)

Just spent 1.5 hrs driving round to try & fill my car (diesel) as I needed to fill up to drive to my mum’s tomorrow for her 75th birthday

Great, all I’ve got now is an empty tank of fuel

Thx a bunch you load of panic buying tts most of whom probably won’t need to fill up for 2 weeks anyway

Total fkwits agreed. Just buy fuel as you normally do and there would likely be no issues.

Astonishing isn’t it?

If it hadn’t been reported in the media, then nobody would be any the wiser and life could carry on as normal!

Long queues at filling stations have mostly disappeared round here. But that's because people have drained them dry. Idiots.

I managed to get filled up at big Tesco in Stevenage town centre yesterday morning at about 11am. Queue wasn't too bad. So got to my mum's birthday (!)

Car's tank holds 65 litres, filled with 62 litres.

Only thought when I was chatting with my mum about that if they'd had no fuel I'm not sure I'd have got back home.

I got some 95 at Tesco in Stevenage today at about 2.30pm. No queue at all. No diesel or SUL either though.

Nearest petrol station to me and the one I normally use the Martins Way Shell in Stevenage. Didn’t need petrol until today so went by on my way home from work. Drove straight in and filled up no problem. All pumps were being used but no queue and all flavours available at all pumps.

FiL went to the other Shell in Lonsdale Road in Stevenage around lunchtime and there was a short queue (he reckons about four cars in front of him and less than a five min wait). Again all flavours available.
