Great shots.

We get these every year, front and back of the house, for about 2 days when conditions are right.

This year we had a new patio at the rear and asked the contractors what could be done about the nest below the old one. "We'll put some stuff down" they said.

Suspect they didn't, though the numbers of ants in general seem to be down on previous years. Not many flyers seen so far.

Gruesome but good. They all seem to fly off on one day. I've noted two winged types, big and small. I have a big tube of white ant powder which seems to spoil their plans quite well!
