Police safety unit on M3?

Was it me, or was there a white van with Police Safety Unit on the side parked on the Junc 5 (Hook) bridge monitoring the Southbound traffic last night approx 1745? Is this a scamera van, anyone know?

I saw him! I get off there (heading southbound) and saw him in the distance as I was approaching the junction. Couldn't tell it was police until I was actually on the slip road, so luckily I was going 70mph at the time.

However, as I circled the junction to go toward Hook, I'm pretty sure he was parked over the Northbound carriageway.

I've heard reports of Hampshire traffic police setting up scameras on the bridges over M3, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a scamera van.

They often park their vans their. I always keep an eye out for them.

Hi Guys - yeah, I've seen it before alot. I think it's ANPR. Look out for 3 or 4 little cameras all covering a lane each.....with the white van parked to the side. They're just checking for tax and insurance.

It will be an ANPR van. Our Scumera vans do not sit up on motorways.

Didn't do it in the end. Got a different job instead.
