MGF Hydragas help Notts

Hi All,

Just bought an MGF. Hydragas needs doing before a long road trip in 5 days time. I won’t be able to talk to a garage until Tuesday, at which point it may be too late notice.
Has anyone got a hydra gas pump in/near Nottingham available in the next few days? Obviously for pay.

May be too late to help you but The problem with these cars is more likely to be that the Nitrogen gas has been lost and they need to be removed from the car and re-gassed. Here's a number 07895513800 which was given to me by another PHer for a nice bloke who will do the job for you. He returns your spheres gassed up, you just pop them back in and use a Hydrolastic pump to finish the job.

Adding Hydrolastic fluid on its own raises the car but removes the compliance of the suspension. Ride becomes terrible but if correctly set up with gas and fluid, it is a joy to use.
